Last weekend we had our friends come to visit (from Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco). The girls spent the day shopping and having lunch while Erich and Colin took the kids to the Children's Museum and to lunch - talk about good dads/husbands!

Flee to San Antonio

We decided to flee to San Antonio during Hurricane Ike and were lucky enough to stay with our friends Holli and John Marcum and their 3 little ones. It was a great weekend. Caden had a blast palying with Miles (age 3) and Ella (age 2) and all of their toys. We had great food and a lot of fun - much better than most evacuees.

Okay, we finally got our power back on after 10 days without it. So, here are some very belated pics of the past few weeks. Fortunately we had a day trip to Galveston with Aunt Miriam, Uncle Gabriel, and Helen in August. I am so glad we made it there before Hurricane Ike because it probably will take years to restore the little beach town.

Pics from one of Caden's last playdates with Owen. The ate Caden's toys and thought it was very funny. Then Caden took a bath and the minute he got out ran over to sit with Owen (who was watching Elmo on TV) - Caden literally sat on Owen while he was naked. Sweet Owen just sat there and said "Caden is crazy". Then we finally got Caden to get off of Owen and get his PJS on and the boys enjoyed their milk (and Elmo, of course).

We were soooo sad to leave all of our wonderful friends in San Francisco. Marina, Kevin, and Lulu threw us a fantastic going away party - complete with yummy food and Texas Gold Bars, mmmm. Thank you Krim family for such a great send off!

Last Day at Daycare

Caden had his last day at daycare. We were so sad to say goodbye to his adorable friends and fantastic teachers. It is the best center ever! Here is some pics of him with his favorite teachers Sumaira and Bre.
